Earl started Wins Law, PLLC with the dream of representing clients the way he would want to be represented.  With a wealth of experience both in and out of the courtroom, Earl knows when it’s time to negotiate and when it’s time to prepare for trial. 

Earl started his adult life at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND where he earned a double major in Information Systems and Management. After spending a decade in Corporate America, Earl enrolled in graduate school where he earned his Master’s of Business Administration.  It was during this degree program that Earl realized he did not want a job that an MBA would get him.  He wanted work where he could make a difference in an individual’s life. The summer Earl graduated with his MBA, he immediately enrolled in the law program at William Mitchell (now Mitchell Hamline). 

After passing the bar, Earl went to work for a private criminal defense firm in St. Cloud, MN.  Shortly after joining that firm, Earl became an assistant Public Defender in Mille Lacs County where he handled hundreds of cases and gained a wealth of trial experience.  Earl also began representing parents facing issues with Child Protection and became intimately familiar with that
specialized area of law.  Earl then branched into family law and found another passion.  This blend of experience in areas of law that often overlap can be difficult to find without hiring multiple attorneys.
